Hybrid Publications has released ON: Volume Two, the second installment of its biannual print magazine celebrating gaming’s past, present, and future. The magazine features eight covers, each highlighting a unique visual theme, from indie cult favorites to genre-defining classics. This new volume continues the brand’s mission to elevate independent games journalism through bold design, thoughtful writing, and premium production values.

The magazine includes in-depth perspectives on the games and ideas shaping the medium, brought to you by some of the most respected voices in games journalism. The features offer a fresh take on horror games, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, the Pokémon that got away, the Playstation’s 30th anniversary, rhythm action, the history of videogames via Wolfenstein, and paths.

To mark the launch of Volume Two, Hybrid Publications has also unveiled a limited Stealth Zelda slipcase, produced in an edition of just 10 copies, and a premium slipcase edition, the ON: Compendium, designed to house both Volume One and Volume Two side-by-side. The ON: Compendium is a beautiful and functional collector’s piece that reflects ON’s commitment to craft.

Inside the magazine, ON: Volume Two features deep-dive essays, retrospectives, and reported stories from world-class writers, as well as immersive visual design on every page. As part of the preorder campaign for ON: Volume Two, Hybrid created an ultra-rare Pokémon Mew slipcase and a Benefactor program that allowed supporters to customize a logo printed in Volume Two alongside their name. ON: Volume Two is available now at on.games.
