Ofihombre, an independent one-man studio, has released a significant update for its game, Randy & Manilla, now available on Steam. The update, originally intended as the fourth patch, includes substantial additions and long-awaited fixes. The Quantum City level is now complete with two new levels and a formidable boss, "Crackscorpio," who challenges players with swift attacks.

Manilla becomes a playable character in the Rol & Rogue's Net-Cube, with Randy taking a supporting role. Players can switch between the two characters at the start or after losing, thanks to updated character selection options. Gameplay adjustments have been made to enhance Manilla's mechanics, and footstep sounds now feature throughout the game.

The sprint feature now includes a visual indicator for activation, and a new "auto-travel" mode has been added, allowing players to steer their ship directly toward selectable Net-Cubes with a single button press. Other improvements include minor bug fixes, new routes added to the Quantum City map, and modifications to the pause menu.

The game's roadmap has been updated to reflect progress more clearly, with blocks marked with vignettes indicating their development status. The original actors for Randy Qubit and E-Mailer have departed, and while their return is welcome, replacing their roles is a long-term plan.

Randy & Manilla is a multi-genre game containing gameplay styles of all kinds, including 2D/3D Platformer, RPG, FPS, Racing, and Puzzle. The game is inspired by Wreck-It Ralph and allows players to travel through the cyber-universe as Randy or Manilla. The project is expected to be completed by 2025-2026.

Ofihombre, the developer of Randy & Manilla, is based in Gata de Gorgos, Spain. Other games developed by Ofihombre and released on itch.io include Alien Storm, Andrux Adventure, Cubix, Fall Mazeball, Pixelbit World, and Damiux Ferrer Dream.
