Pc Games Indie Game Early Access Strategy

Of Life and Land, the peaceful nature simulation city builder, will be officially released as version 1.0 on Steam on May 16, 2025. The 1.0 Release includes a historical scenario about the Counts of Lenzburg in medieval Switzerland, where players can build the Lenzburg Castle, discover ancient myths, and experience political conflict between church and empire. New features also consist of castle construction, single-city scenarios, advanced trade mechanics, and decorative elements.

Of Life and Land is a charming settlement-building strategy game with a rich nature simulation experience. Since Early Access, improvements include physical dirt and humidity simulation, new trade-focused scenario Risenna with 11 new maps, two fully simulated animals that influence the ecosystem, and a simulated education & retirement system. Over 20 feature updates have added lots of new buildings and content.

Of Life and Land was a solo project for Marco Burri, a software engineer with a background in automation technology and game development. Metaroot, a small publisher and marketing agency based in Zurich, Switzerland, published Of Life and Land. Metaroot has also published the Tetris-like city puzzler "River Towns" and the steampunk autoshooter "Airships: Lost Flotilla". Of Life and Land will be available on Steam with a 40% launch discount on May 16, 2025.
