Octopo Studio, a game development company founded in 2021 by industry veterans, has announced its participation in the 2024 PlayX4 B2B event. The studio, which includes COO Woohyun Kim who has worked on games like Brawl Stars, Squad Busters, and Clash Quest, is currently working on two in-house projects. The first project, Bounty Pang, is a shooting-action RPG that has undergone a month-long test launch and is set to be officially released in the third quarter of this year. The game features a North American art style and targets overseas markets, particularly North America and Europe. Octopo Studio aims to find publishing partners to support the global launch of Bounty Pang at the PlayX4 B2B event. The studio has also completed the prototype for its next RPG project and plans to launch it by the end of this year or early 2025. Octopo Studio's goal is to establish a faster and more efficient game development process and create unique games rather than following trends. The 2024 PlayX4 B2B event, hosted by Gyeonggi Content Agency and KINTEX, will feature exhibitions and experiences of new games from Korean and international game companies.
