The popular VR language learning game, Noun Town, has just released a significant free update, offering a new island, upgraded characters, and additional language content. The update includes a fully immersive 3D world with 11 learning environments, 16 redesigned NPCs, new language content for all 13 languages, updated Mixed Reality mode, and custom music throughout the game.

Noun Town, developed by the SUPER HYPER MEGA games studio from London, offers 13 languages to learn, over 1,000 words and phrases, and 16 NPCs to practice speaking with. The game has received seven major free content updates since its launch, with the latest being the most comprehensive. The corresponding update for the Steam VR version is due for release in January 2025.

Noun Town's founder, Dr. Jack Ratcliffe, is a technology and cognition expert whose research inspired the game. The SUPER HYPER MEGA studio has won three awards and received eight nominations across technical achievement, indie gaming, and VR disciplines. The game was also nominated for a Bett award for "Best Innovation in Education," recognizing its impact on global education.
