Noun Town: Home, a standalone Mixed Reality (MR) version of the award-winning Noun Town Language Learning game series, has recently been released exclusively on the Meta Quest store. This MR experience is available at half the price of the full VR+MR title, Noun Town.

In Noun Town: Home, players can learn over 800 words and phrases in various languages, including English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Ukrainian, Russian, Greek, and Arabic. The game offers features like "Daily Goals" and "Learning Streaks" to help users stay motivated. Additionally, players can enjoy mini-games like Superseeker and Alpha-Bash, utilizing an auto-revision system to reinforce their learning.

Customization options are also available, allowing players to personalize their room, label household items, and create memory palaces to aid in remembering new words. Practicing speaking with 16 NPCs using speech recognition prepares users for real-life conversations.

Noun Town was founded by Dr. Jack Ratcliffe, a technology and cognition expert, and is part of the SUPER HYPER MEGA games studio from London, UK. Dr. Ratcliffe's research served as the inspiration for Noun Town VR Language Learning. Following the successful launch of Noun Town VR, a new version of the game is set to release for PC and Mac users in late 2023.

The SUPER HYPER MEGA studio has received recognition with 3 award wins and 8 nominations across technical achievement, indie gaming, and VR disciplines. It was also nominated for a Bett award for "Best Innovation in Education," highlighting its impact on global education.
