Riot Games has unveiled a new skinline for its popular game VALORANT, called Nocturnum. The skinline is inspired by an ancient forbidden ritual and features fantastical elements that strike a balance between terror and beauty. The weapons included in the Nocturnum skinline are the Phantom, Classic, Bulldog, Marshal, and a new scythe melee type.

The Nocturnum skinline features custom kill banners and finishers, and after killing each player on the enemy team once, the Nocturnum ritual is fully unlocked, and Noctis is summoned into your finisher, swallowing the world in darkness. The scythe melee type comes equipped with custom swipes and inspect animations, as well as a unique transformation capability where upon inspection, it switches between a scythe and dagger.

VALORANT's Episode 9 Act II also brings players a new battle pass, featuring items like the Overlay Phantom, Lava Lamp Gun Buddy, and animated Resting Wingman Spray. The game has also revealed a new sentinel joining the agent roster, Vyse, who unleashes liquid metal to isolate, trap, and disarm her enemies.

VALORANT is a free-to-play, competitive 5v5 character-based first-person tactical shooter developed and published by Riot Games for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation®5. The game features high-fidelity gunplay, a diverse arsenal of guns, agents with unique abilities, and competitively tuned maps for unlimited hours of play.

The Nocturnum skinline will be available to players on August 29, 2024, and the Episode 9 Act II begins on August 28, 2024.
