Nocturnal Arrives in Style: Physical Edition Announced for Switch & PS5

Pix’n Love, in partnership with Dear Villagers and SunnySide Games, has announced the physical release of the 2D action-platformer game, Nocturnal, for Nintendo Switch and PS5. The game is set to launch in Q2 2024 and features an inspired artistic direction, oriental-accented soundtrack, and a variety of gameplay elements, including exploration, combat, puzzles, and speedrun options.

Nocturnal tells the story of Ardeshir, a soldier of the Eternal Flame, who returns to his native island of Nahran after a long sea voyage, only to find it covered in a strange Mist. To navigate through the Mist, Ardeshir must wield the powers of the flame, while also facing the terrifying threats and powerful skills that lie within.

In addition to the standard edition, Pix’n Love is also releasing a numbered collector's edition of Nocturnal, which includes a 64-page making-of artbook, an OST CD, and a cardboard sleeve. This limited edition is available exclusively on Pix’n Love's official website.

Nocturnal is published under Pix’n Love Games, a subdivision of Pix’n Love that specializes in video game publishing. The company has previously published successful games such as Windjammers 2, Garou – Mark of the Wolves, Unruly Heroes, ScourgeBringer, and others.

Nocturnal promises to be a poetic, touching, and melancholic game, with a strong emphasis on exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving. The game is set to release in Q2 2024 for Nintendo Switch and PS5.
