NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound Slashes onto Consoles July 31, First Demo in Steam Next Fest

Pc Games Action Game Indie Game Role Playing Game Microsoft Xbox Sony PlaystationDotemu and The Game Kitchen have announced the release date of their upcoming 2D side-scrolling action platformer, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound. The game, which is a spin-off of KOEI TECMO GAMES' Ninja Gaiden series, will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox on July 31. A playable demo will be released during Steam Next Fest.
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound follows Kenji Mozu, a Hayabusa Clan Ninja, who must rise to slay the forces of evil after the veil between the human and demon realms breaks. Kenji's destiny is intertwined with Kumori, a kunoichi from the antagonistic Black Spider Clan. The game features show-stopping fights against powerful bosses, upgradable abilities, hidden collectibles, unlockable secret missions, and optional challenges.
The game's release date trailer showcases the relentless assault of blades, claws, and demonic enemies that players will face. The game's soundtrack features contributions from special guest composers, including Keiji Yamagishi, Ryuichi Niita, and Kaori Nakabai, who created the original NES Ninja Gaiden trilogy soundtracks.
