The popular sci-fi RPG shooter game, GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, developed by SHIFT UP, has announced its second collaboration with the iconic anime Evangelion. The crossover is set to launch on February 20 and will feature a special storyline set in the Evangelion world. Fan-favorite characters such as Asuka: WILLE, Rei Ayanami, and Sakura will be available in the game. The collaboration was announced during Sony's State of Play event, where SHIFT UP also confirmed a June 2025 launch date for the Stellar Blade x NIKKE in-game collaboration.

The NIKKE x Evangelion collaboration will include exclusive character outfits, a stunning 3D event map, and a new mini-game. The trailer for the collaboration features the newly introduced characters Asuka: WILLE, Rei Ayanami (Tentative Name), and Sakura, showcasing them in a high stakes battle against the backdrop of the Red Sea. Evangelion Unit Two and Evangelion Mark.09 are also featured in the trailer, engaging in dramatic combat sequences.

GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, which has been downloaded over 45 million times since its launch, is now available globally on the iOS App Store, Google Play, and Windows PC. The game offers an immersive story-driven adventure with beautifully rendered playable characters and a mysterious world to explore. The game's dynamic combat experience is delivered through advanced animated illustrations, smooth character movements, and realistic character performance.

Evangelion is a cultural phenomenon that debuted as a TV series in 1995 and was reimagined as REBUILD OF EVANGELION in 2007. The final chapter of the series, EVANGELION: 3.0+1.0 THRICE UPON A TIME, was released in 2021 and received overwhelming support with 6.73 million viewers.
