The game is expected to be released in Summer 2024 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on the day of release.

The new trailer showcases the powerful duo of protagonist Nor Vanek and her mysterious companion Enki, as they use new magical and tactical abilities and encounter vicious new enemies in the area of Wanderer's Rest. Players will also get a glimpse of new cosmetics and gear that Nor will discover and unleash in the game.

A44 Games has confirmed that an extended gameplay video with further looks at new characters, gameplay systems, and abilities will be revealed in March 2024. The developers are known for their expertise in combining cinematic experiences with complex gameplay, as seen in their first game, Ashen, which was released in 2018 to critical acclaim.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is published by Kepler Interactive, a developer and publisher that operates on a co-ownership model. Its studios are given strategic leadership roles while continuing to develop their games their way, with no creative limitations.
