The action-adventure game NetherWorld, developed by Hungry Pixel, is set to launch on Steam in 2025 and will also be available in a physical edition for Nintendo Switch. The game features Medoo, a jellyfish whose wife has left him, leading him to drown his sorrows in a bar filled with vodka and encounter a cokehead mage.
The game's story quickly becomes a surreal and unpredictable adventure, with Medoo meeting various eccentric characters, including mobsters, perverts, flying snots, worms, and sociopathic kids. Players will survive insane boss fights, compete in drinking games, make love, shoot stuff, and control a tick named Joe through filthy rogue-like dungeons.
The physical edition of NetherWorld for Nintendo Switch includes a special marriage crisis game manual to help players guide Medoo through his love troubles.
