The award recognizes games that have made significant contributions to the national scene, taking into account factors like innovation, technical quality, and community impact.

Mullet MadJack, which was launched on Steam in May 2024, has gained international recognition for its unique concept. Players must eliminate enemies every 10 seconds to stay alive in a world ruled by billionaire robots and influencers who stream their lives online. The game's 90s anime-inspired aesthetics, fast-paced gameplay, and unconventional narrative have captured the attention of both the public and critics.

Hammer95 Studios, an independent studio founded by artists and developers who share a love for classic anime, aims to transform nostalgia into unique and innovative experiences. Mullet MadJack is currently available on Steam and Xbox, with an active and engaged community, and the studio is working on expanding the game's universe and potential updates.

Epopeia Games, a Brazilian publisher dedicated to original narratives and indie games, published Mullet MadJack.
