On December 12, 2024, Bordeaux-based studio Motion Twin announced a major update for the Early Access of Windblown. This update, available to everyone, adds new equipment and numerous improvements to the fast-paced action game from the creators of Dead Cells, which can be played solo or cooperatively.
This update follows feedback from the community during the Early Access period and includes a new Revenge Mode, two new lethal weapons (Umbrella and Fiery Claws), four powerful Trinkets, four new skins, and the addition of Russian and German languages. Accessibility options, improved cursor tracking, and a pause feature in single-player mode are also included in this update.
Motion Twin is proud to announce that over 250,000 players have been exploring the celestial islands of Windblown's Early Access since its release in October. To celebrate this milestone and the arrival of this major update, the game is available at a 20% discount on Steam until January 2,
