Backwoods Entertainment and Hauke Gerdes have announced the release of a video game adaptation of the popular Rocket Beans TV show, Morriton Manor Stories: Nordic Whispers. The game is based on Morriton Manor, a German Twitch and YouTube live tabletop RPG show that has garnered millions of views, and is set in Victorian England, inspired by Sherlock Holmes stories and ancient mythology.

In Morriton Manor Stories: Nordic Whispers, the famous Morriton Manor investigators have disappeared, and Leah Glessner, a Private Investigator of the Supernatural, with a unique gift of photographic memory, is sent to rescue them from a time loop on a mysterious island. The game is a detective RPG, where players can customize Leah's skills and shape her approach to the investigation.

Players will explore the island, gather clues, and use Leah's photographic memory to recall key information at crucial moments, influencing dice rolls and boosting character stats. The game features curses, demons, and dark secrets of the underworld, and players will have to make tough decisions and find their perfect way through a time loop.

Backwoods Entertainment is an award-winning indie game studio from Germany, known for their debut title Unforeseen Incidents. They are currently working on Morriton Manor Stories: Nordic Whispers in collaboration with Hauke Gerdes and Rocket Beans TV, and the interactive mystery We Stay Behind. The Steam page for Morriton Manor Stories: Nordic Whispers is now live, with a brand-new trailer.
