Abrams Studios, an independent game developer, has announced the release of Morels: The Hunt 2 for PS5. The game is a simulation that challenges players to hunt for mushrooms and take stunning nature photos as a wildlife explorer and photographer. Morels: The Hunt 2 is the sequel to the original game, which was released in 2019 to critical acclaim and praise from players.

Morels: The Hunt 2 offers a unique and relaxing gameplay experience that is suitable for players of all ages and skill levels. The game is an adventure about mushroom hunting and wildlife photography, where players must find as many morel mushrooms as they can while taking photos of the wildlife they encounter. The game features seven unique maps, each with its distinct terrain and adventure. Players can collect and learn about many new mushrooms and familiar favorites from the original game.

As players progress through the game, they earn points and level up their Mushroom Hunter Level. They can also discover new collectibles like a crystal skull and robot parts. The game features realistic weather, forecasted before each level, which can change every day. Players can even hunt at night if they're brave enough!

Players can earn points from finding mushrooms and photographing wildlife to buy valuable items in the shop, such as bug spray to prevent ticks, first aid kits, raincoats, a headlamp for night hunting, upgraded cameras, and even a horse or an ATV to ride around on.

The snapshots that players take along the way will be kept in their digital photo book, preserving their precious memories. As a bonus, players may even come across mythological creatures from real-life stories of the forest like Sasquatch.
