Swordlake Entertainment is set to release its visual novel RPG, Mistwinter Bay, on November 15, 2024. Players will assume the role of a fully customizable sovereign, ruling over the town of Mistwinter Bay for five years and making choices that shape the town and its people. The game features 32 unique characters, six foreign rulers, and a unique, random event every month, with multiple endings for each event. Players can build buildings, interact with townsfolk, and handle international politics, with the potential to build positive or negative relationships with characters. With several unique endings to each event, randomization of which events will occur, and more events than can be cleared during a single playthrough, every playthrough is a unique experience. The full release includes the ability to marry one of 38 available spouses, adopt a child, and unlock new outfits for character customization.
