ATLUS, known for their work on the Persona and Shin Megami Tensei series, recently hosted a developer livestream for their upcoming full-scale fantasy RPG, Metaphor: ReFantazio. Studio Zero Director Katsura Hashino shared a 30-minute gameplay demo, revealing the game's release date as October 11, 2024. The game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam.

During the livestream, Hashino-san showcased various game locales, from grand cities to underground waterways, and introduced the Gauntlet Runner, the player's home base and HQ. The game encourages players to write their destiny and rise above fear in a unique fantasy world.

Metaphor: ReFantazio's Collector's Edition includes the base game, artbook, soundtrack, Homo Tenta metallic pins, sticker sheet, steelbook, cloth map, digital history book, digital all-time best soundtrack, costume, and battle BGM. Pre-order incentives consist of an Archetype EXP Chest Set, Adventurer’s Journey Pack, in-game currency, and consumable items.

The game promises an immersive and captivating RPG experience, with Hashino-san's creative vision and development expertise at its helm.
