Metal Mind Unleashes Customizable Mecha Combat on Switch & Epic Games Store

Metal Mind, a roguelike dungeon crawling mech shooter, is set to launch on March 7, 2024, for Nintendo Switch and PC via the Epic Games Store. Developed by WHIRLLAXY LIMITED and published by 2P Games, players control a self-aware mech droid fighting to liberate enslaved robotic companions from the evil AWC organization.

The game features a highly customizable transformation system, allowing players to build powerful mecha using over 100 weapons and core component mods. With a variety of equipment and a dynamic modification system, players can create unique mecha to suit their playstyle.

In Metal Mind, players explore four dystopian maps within the AWC Labs, battling mechanical foes and eight bosses. The game offers hours of replayability, with new synergistic builds to discover in each playthrough.

According to Joash Zhou, Founder of WHIRLLAXY LIMITED, "Metal Mind merges randomization and customization together into a distinct roguelite mecha experience." The game will be available for $17.99 USD with a 15% launch discount on Nintendo Switch and Epic Games Store, in multiple languages including Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, and German.

2P Games, the publisher, is a China-based company known for releasing successful indie games like Immortal Life, Return from Core, and Time Walker: Dark World. WHIRLLAXY LIMITED, the developer, is a Shanghai-based game developer that has invested heavily in Metal Mind, their flagship title.
