Merk Mayhem: A Newcomer in the Indie FPS Scene

Merk Mayhem Collective is excited to announce the early-access release of their first-person shooter game, Merk Mayhem, set in a cyberpunk-inspired world. The game offers skill-based combat and strategic gameplay with three unique combat kits, each with a different movement style and personalized melee weapons. Game Director Zachary Tirgan emphasized that the game is designed for casual gamers who want to have fun, rather than just catering to competitive players.

Merk Mayhem features an extensive weapon arsenal, including assault rifles, submachine guns, marksman rifles, shotguns, and sidearms. Although the game currently only has one playable map, more are planned for future updates. The small development team is committed to engaging with the community and gathering feedback to improve the game.

Key features of Merk Mayhem include movement-based fps combat, three unique kits with more to come, a mix of passive, tactical, and lethal abilities, and one map with more to follow. The game will be available as a free-to-play early-access title on Steam from March 22nd, with a planned price increase to $5 in 2025 and a full release price of $15.
