ESDigital Games and Magic Hazard have released their new top-down shooter game, Memory Lost, on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The game will later be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Memory Lost is set in a dystopian metropolis where survival is only possible by shifting consciousness into enemies' bodies and using their abilities to adapt and overcome.

Memory Lost features 60 unique enemies, each with their own characteristics and skills, which players can take over to affect the battle's outcome. The game also includes 10 boss encounters with various mechanics and challenges. Players can choose from five skill trees, allowing them to try different combinations of strengths and find the one best suited to their playstyle.

The game's relocation mechanic enables players to look for a healthy body when they don't want to run around in a half-dead state. Players can capture enemies' memories, which the main character, the Neural Network, will collect to develop its own independent personality. Players' interactions with the surrounding world shape the neural network, and their actions will unlock one of three possible endings.

Memory Lost is a story-driven action shooter where the battles are built around the mechanics of mind capturing and moving into the enemy’s body. The game features 3D cinematics, animated cutscenes, and a deep plot with three possible endings, taking players deep into the world of Memory Lost.
