TrampolineTales, the developer of the popular anti-capitalist roguelike "Luck Be a Landlord," has announced its latest game, "Maze Mice." The game is set to release on PC via Steam in 2025 and will feature a time-freezing mechanic that allows players to navigate a labyrinthine attic as a tiny mouse, avoiding ferocious felines.

In "Maze Mice," time only moves when the player moves, giving them the opportunity to plan the safest route ahead. Players can collect upgrade dots to gain experience and unlock powerful upgrades, such as a Tiny Sweater for extra health, a Vacuum to attract nearby items, and Popcorn to temporarily avoid damage. They can also use provisions like Flame Trails, Knitting Needles, and Hairballs to fend off cats.

The game features different kinds of felines, including curious Chasers and ghostly Phasers, and players must stay nimble to maneuver through the attic's tricky side entrances and escape with their tiny whiskers intact. "Maze Mice" offers permanent upgrades and an adorable array of animal characters, including mice, rabbits, and guinea pigs, each with their own starting upgrades.

The game boasts a retro, top-down pixelated world with charming details and a tail-swishing soundtrack from Vincent Colavita. "Maze Mice" will be available in multiple languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Danish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Spanish - Latin America, Traditional Chinese, Portuguese - Portugal, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, and Arabic.
