Modiphius Entertainment Ltd., a publisher of tabletop RPGs, war games, and board games, has announced the upcoming release of Mass Effect the Board Game - Priority: Hagalaz. This cooperative, story-driven board game for 1-4 players is designed by Eric M. Lang and Calvin Wong Tze Loon and set during the events of Mass Effect 3.

In Mass Effect the Board Game - Priority: Hagalaz, players take on the role of Commander Shepard and their squad, embarking on a mission to prepare the Crucible, an ancient alien superweapon, for a last-ditch effort to defeat the Reapers. The game takes place aboard a crashed Cerberus research cruiser on the remote world Hagalaz, where players must navigate through the ship, confronting Cerberus forces and other dangers to uncover its secrets.

The game features a branching, narrative campaign with multiple playthroughs and a different experience each time. Card-driven AI and evolving stories respond to players' actions, with early choices influencing later missions. Players can gather a squad from a selection of teammates from the Mass Effect trilogy, including Liara, Tali, Wrex, and Garrus, and customize and upgrade their squad's abilities, equipment, and powers as they gain experience.

Mass Effect the Board Game - Priority: Hagalaz includes six highly detailed 32mm scale pre-assembled plastic miniatures of male and female Shepard, Liara, Tali, Wrex, and Garrus. The game will be released through Asmodee later in 2024.
