This new expansion continues the story from the base game and covers Operation Market Garden, the daring offensive by Allied forces in the Netherlands in 1944.
In the Market Garden campaign, players command British land forces tasked with relieving Allied paratrooper units that have landed in the Netherlands and are holding key bridges. However, due to stubborn German resistance and a series of setbacks, players must fight to save the paratroopers. The DLC includes eight new battles in the British campaign and introduces new units for every playable country: 5 British units, 2 US units, and 3 German units. Notable new units include the UK's Staghound Tulip and the US's Sherman Calliope rocket launcher.
Headquarters: World War II, released in April, is a fast-paced turn-based strategy game that covers the Battle of Normandy in three plot-driven campaigns. Players can experience both sides of the war, battling in Europe as the USA, the UK, or Germany. The game is published by Slitherine, the world’s leading producer and publisher of digital strategy and wargames.
The Market Garden DLC is available now on Steam and includes new battles, units, and gameplay features. More information about Headquarters: World War II and the Market Garden DLC can be found on the game's official website and Steam page.
