Action Game Early Access Indie Game Pc Games Role Playing GameMagenta Horizon, a 2D action platformer spectacle fighter, is set to release its final update, "Neverending Harizon," as version 1.0 on December 5, 2024. The game, developed and published by solo developer Maddison Baek of Hellfire Railway Interactive and 2 Left Thumbs, follows a Reaper in the twisted purgatorial afterlife. Players will face hordes of demons and epic bosses in a fast-paced, skill-based combat experience.
With over four years of development and a year and a half in Early Access, Magenta Horizon boasts a wide range of features. Players will have access to the full melee combat arsenal from the start, with over 50 unique melee combos to master. Eight ranged skills can be unlocked for additional offensive combinations, and 28 Necklace pieces can be acquired to customize and buff the character. The game features 33 stages across three acts, 46 enemies, and 19 epic bosses, with five difficulty options, including two that significantly change enemy compositions and AI for an even greater challenge.
The game's art, programming, music, writing, and full production are handled by Maddison Baek, resulting in a cohesive and polished experience. The soundtrack includes 41 original music tracks, and there are 51 Steam achievements to unlock. Magenta Horizon will maintain its $10.99 USD price as it moves to version 1.0.
