Indie Game Pc Games Free To Play Microsoft Xbox Sports

The indie game developer, Megagon Industries, has announced a significant milestone for their game Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, as it has reached 1 million players. To celebrate this achievement, the team has released a major update, named 'Freestylers,' which is available for free on PC and Xbox.

The 'Freestylers' update introduces two new modes: Trick Mode and Free Ride Mode. In Trick Mode, players can showcase their style, completing over 100 challenges in a reimagined version of the Snow Riders experience. Free Ride Mode, a popular feature from Megagon's previous hit Lonely Mountains: Downhill, allows players to carve their own route down the mountain, removing all checkpoints. Both modes come with leaderboard support and new achievements.

Additionally, the update includes various accessibility features, such as auto-break, auto-accelerate, toggling buttons instead of holding them, and button mapping. These options aim to make the game more accessible to a wider range of players.

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders is a game about skiing down beautiful mountain landscapes, offering players the choice to perform daring tricks, challenge themselves on the leaderboard, or explore the slope and discover shortcuts. The game supports co-op and competitive multiplayer modes, with multiplatform crossplay for up to 8 people.

Megagon Industries is an independent game studio based in Berlin, Germany, known for developing the mountain biking game Lonely Mountains: Downhill. Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders is a follow-up to their successful first game and is now available on PC and Xbox.
