SHUEISHA GAMES, a division of the well-established manga publisher SHUEISHA, has released Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump+ Dimensions on PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. This turn-based tactical adventure game features characters from popular Jump+ manga series and is now available with a 20% launch discount.

Captain Velvet Meteor tells the story of Damien, a shy boy who moves to Japan and copes with his loneliness by creating an imaginary hero, "Captain Velvet Meteor." Players can explore Damien's imagined world, the Jump+ Dimensions, and interact with characters from manga series such as SPYxFAMILY, Hell's Paradise, and Summer Time Rendering.

The game features easy-to-learn mechanics, strategic battles, puzzles, and a heartwarming narrative about overcoming fears and adapting to new environments. Players can partner with eight Jump+ manga heroes, using their unique abilities and combos to defeat enemies. The game also includes stealth and puzzle elements, contributing to engaging gameplay.

Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump+ Dimensions is localized in five languages and is available on Steam, Microsoft Store, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. SHUEISHA GAMES, founded by the owners of the influential Jump manga publications, aims to bring unique games to a global audience by combining the abilities of a publishing company and a game developer.

The game's developer, Momo-Pi, is an indie studio led by Rinaldo Wirz, a Swiss artist living in Japan. Momo-Pi has previously developed Persephone and won the "Shueisha Shonen Jump+ Award" at the Google Play Indie Game Festival 2019. Captain Velvet Meteor is the result of a collaboration between Shueisha Games, Shonen Jump+, and Momo-Pi, offering players a unique gaming experience with popular manga characters.
