Pc Games Action Game Indie Game Role Playing Game Early AccessKujiraDanceRoom, an indie developer made up of individuals who have worked on games such as Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring, has announced the official release of their Souls-like 2D wire-action game, Last Order, on Steam. The game is now available for purchase at a price of $19.99.
Last Order is a 2D action game that features pixel art graphics and high difficulty. Players take on the role of an abandoned Automata named Yukiwari, who has lost her memory but still embarks on a journey to reclaim the light her heart longs for - the 'Last Order.'
One of the key features of Last Order is the use of wire actions, which can be used for both movement and attack. There are several types of wire actions available, including Swing Wire, Dive Wire, and Shackle Wire. Swing Wire allows players to swing and attack using wires strung across the ceiling, while Dive Wire lets players move at high speed to scaffolds and enemies using an elastic wire. Shackle Wire, on the other hand, allows players to entangle and throw enemies or shells, and can be used both offensively and defensively.
In addition to the wire actions, Last Order also features a growth system that allows players to customize their character to match their playstyle. Players can choose to focus on power for short-term battles or resilience for long-term battles, and can equip Order Chips to gain new abilities.
The game also features tense boss battles at the end of each stage, which are challenging but fair. These boss battles were crafted by the same staff who worked on Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring, and require players to learn and overcome the bosses' patterns in order to progress.
Since its early access release, Last Order has received several updates, including the implementation of previously unimplemented stages and bosses, multiple endings, a variety of new equipment (Order Chips), support for keyboard and mouse controls, and overall game balance adjustments.
Last Order is available now on Steam for Windows 7 or later. For more information, visit the game's page on Steam, or follow KujiraDanceRoom on Twitter.
