Reburn, formerly known as 4A Games Ukraine, has launched the Early Access of their first original narrative sci-fi shooter game, La Quimera, on PC via Steam. Set in a futuristic Latin American megalopolis, Nuevo Caracas, the game follows a PMC group involved in a conflict between rival factions and corporations. With mystical events blurring the line between reality and illusion, players can engage in intense combat using high-tech gadgetry and superhuman strength.
La Quimera offers an original world and narrative created by Nicolas Winding Refn and E.J.A. Warren. Players can experience the story in single-player or co-op mode with up to two other players. The game features an immersive world with various locations, from shimmering skyscrapers to overgrown ruins, and allows players to collect and upgrade futuristic firearms and exosuit abilities.
As an Early Access launch, Reburn seeks feedback from players to improve the game further. The full version will include additional levels, refined pacing, and combat design. The game is available on Windows PC via Steam Early Access for $29.99 USD/€29,99 EUR/£24.99 GBP. Reburn's team includes lead gameplay designers, artists, sound engineers, programmers, and more from the Metro game series, with Oleksandr Kostiuk serving as the project lead.
