CFK, a global game publisher, has announced the release of the popular side-scrolling action game Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony for the PS5. The game, which features characters from the Touhou Project, was initially released on Steam and Nintendo Switch in 2022 and will now be available on PS5 from August 8, 2024.

Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony is set in Gensokyo, where the main character Reimu Hakurei is on a mission to discover the cause of a mysterious event. The game is known for its dark atmosphere, character design by Banpai Akira, and audio that matches the game's mood. The PS5 version includes HD graphics, English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and French language options, and is fully-voiced by popular voice actresses.

The voice actresses include Rina Sato as Reimu Hakurei, Ryoko Shintani as Marisa Kirisame, Eri Kitamura as Remilia Scarlet, Miyuki Sawashiro as Sakuya Izayoi, Aoi Yuki as Cirno, Satomi Sato as Hong Meiling, Noriko Rikimaru as Patchouli Knowledge, Haruka Tomatsu as Alice Margatroid, and Miho Okasaki as Suika Ibuki.

The PS5 version also includes new features such as Suika Ibuki joining as a partner, various achievements, unlockables, and an "Extra Easy" mode for new players. The game will be available for $29.99 on the PlayStation store, with a 10% discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers until September 4, 2024.
