Team Kity has announced the release of their new game, Kity Builder, a city-building sandbox where players create cities for cats. The game features a variety of themed islands for building settlements and is designed to be a lighthearted, restriction-free experience. There are no time limits, resources, or money in Kity Builder, allowing players to build at their own pace.

Exploration is a key aspect of Kity Builder, with buildings serving as toys for players to climb, jump, and bounce on as they discover hidden areas and collect blue(paw)prints to unlock new items. The game features a cast of lovable cat characters, including Mayor Mewyor, and is filled with cat puns.

Team Kity is a queer group of four friends from Spain who met at a game jam in 2021. After the initial version of Kity Builder reached over a hundred thousand players across multiple web portals, they decided to develop a full version for Steam. The team aims to challenge game design conventions and create games that allow for creativity and playfulness.

Kity Builder features include building a city for kitties in an adorable island sandbox, exploring the island by climbing, bouncing, and leaping to new heights, meeting a zany cast of cat-characters, creating without timers or restrictions, and an abundance of cat puns. The release date for Kity Builder has not been announced.
