The game was originally scheduled to release on March 25, 2023, but due to priority issues, the company has decided to push back the release date. Killing Floor 3 is set in a dystopian future, 70 years after the events of Killing Floor 2. The game features a new rebel rogue group called Nightfall, who are the only ones standing between the Zeds, an army of bio-engineered monstrosities produced by megacorp Horzine, and the future of humanity. The game is a co-op action/horror first-person shooter, where players take on the role of a Nightfall specialist, battling through waves of Zeds, unlocking new skills, and building the ultimate arsenal.

The game is being developed for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S console system.
