The highly anticipated Indonesian hand-drawn narrative puzzle game, Kejora, will be released on Steam for PC on September 4, 2025. Developed by Berangin Creative and published by Soft Source, Kejora was first announced in 2021 and has undergone changes in direction and genre, while maintaining its stunning hand-drawn visuals.
Kejora follows a young girl and her friends as they embark on a journey to uncover the origins of a mysterious time loop curse on their village. The game features beautiful hand-drawn visuals inspired by Studio Ghibli, with a Southeast Asian touch. Players can explore various hand-drawn environments, solve puzzles, and defeat enemies with the help of Kejora and her friends.
Kejora will be available digitally on PC via Steam, with future releases planned for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox consoles. The game has received positive feedback for its art style and promising gameplay. Berangin Creative is an animation and indie game development studio based in Indonesia, while Soft Source is a game publisher based in Singapore, specializing in Southeast Asian titles.
