Kakureza Library: A Librarian Adventure Game Debuts on Smartphones

BOCSTE, Ltd. has announced the porting and distribution of the adventure game (ADV) "Kakureza Library" for smartphones. The game was originally released on Steam by the predecessor circle "Norabako" in 2022. Players take on the role of an apprentice librarian for a month, starting from September 1. The game is priced at 4.99 USD and is available on iOS, Android, and Windows PC (Steam).

"Kakureza Library" is a librarian experience ADV game where players perform checkout duties at the counter. The story branches based on the user's selection of books, leading to multiple endings. The game features 260 fictional books, each with their own images and bibliographies. The player's choices can change the visitors, the titles of the books they borrow, and the content of the conversations they have.

The game also includes an extra mode called "Endless Reference" where randomly generated users ask questions, and the player must choose the correct materials. This mode was previously only available in the Japanese version but is now also available in English. BOCSTE, Ltd. welcomes live streaming and distribution of videos of the game.

The Steam version of the game has been updated to reflect changes made in the porting process and permanently reduced in price to 4.99 USD. The game is rated for users aged 12 and above and is copyrighted by Norabako and BOCSTE, Ltd. The trademarks belong to Google, Apple, Valve, and Microsoft. The CEO of BOCSTE, Ltd. is Teiko Miura.
