Smells Like a Mushroom is a new single-player third-person platformer looter shooter developed by Red Limb Studio and published by Fatal Error and Destructive Creations. The game is now available on PlayStation®5 (PS5™), Xbox Series X|S, and PC for 24.99 EUR. A retail, boxed version for PS5™ is also available via Meridiem Games.

In Smells Like a Mushroom, parasitic mushrooms from space have invaded the Milky Way, and it's up to the player, as brave Carrotado, to stop the invasion and defeat the head mushroom honcho, Satanus Boletus. The game features fun platforming elements, dynamic melee and shooting encounters, boss fights, and a light, silly story and dialogue.

Players will join the Aveggers aboard their space cruiser Soil-Trek and travel to planets throughout the solar system to obtain human technology necessary to defeat the invasion. The game includes a split-screen co-op for two players.

Destructive Creations, the publisher of the game, is a developer and publisher of original, uncompromising games, committed to delivering fun games to players worldwide. Red Limb Studio, the developer, has been making diverse games since 2016, including immersive horrors The Purge Day and Rise of Insanity, and the upcoming platformer looter shooter Smells Like a Mushroom.

Smells Like a Mushroom has received positive reviews for its fun platforming elements, dynamic melee and shooting encounters, boss fights, and colorful, cartoony graphics and style. The game is now available for players to purchase and enjoy.
