Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has announced a Closed Network Test for SYNDUALITY: ECHO OF ADA, an extraction shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans and AI must cooperate to survive. The test will run from September 13-16 and is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Players can register for the test through September 3 at 8 a.m. PDT.

The Closed Network Test will feature enhanced gameplay and an expanded selection of customization parts, including new AI Magus companions, upgraded combat abilities and movement, and balance changes to the map. SYNDUALITY ECHO OF ADA is set in the ruins of Amasia in the year 2222, where players take on the role of a CRADLECOFFIN mech pilot and venture into the ruins to recover AO Crystals scattered around the world.

Players can choose to work together and escape with a share of their loot or turn on all comers and take on every foe to risk everything for a greater reward. The game features NPC enemies who roam the map, providing varying degrees of threat and their own bounties to claim. Every CRADLECOFFIN comes equipped with a Magus, an AI companion in virtual human form that provides useful combat information. Players can fully customize every aspect of their mech and Magus, choosing from a wide variety of chassis, arms, and legs, with two weapons as well as selecting a mecha that synergizes best with their playstyle.

SYNDUALITY ECHO OF ADA is developed by Bandai Namco Studios and will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The release date has not been announced yet. Players can sign up for the Closed Network Test on the official website.
