Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story is a documentary and game collection that explores the career of British game developer Jeff Minter, who is known for creating unique and unconventional games. The collection includes 42 classic games from Minter, such as Gridrunner, Attack of the Mutant Camels, and Laser Zone, as well as two of his early light synthesizers, Psychedelia and Colourspace. The games have been updated with modern features and run the original code for authentic gameplay. The documentary includes interviews with Minter and other industry veterans, as well as a virtual museum of design documents and other materials. It is available for $29.99 USD on Steam, GOG, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. The documentary is the second installment in Digital Eclipse's Gold Master Series, which archives video game history in a playable format. Minter is also the subject of the upcoming feature documentary Heart of Neon, directed by Paul Docherty.
