Challenge Mode is a single-player experience where players can test their skills on closed tracks with various vehicles, ranging from stock models to those fine-tuned for specific challenges. This mode features Drift and Grip challenges, allowing players to aim for the best drift score or race to be the fastest across the finish line.
Licensed Nissan, Subaru, and Mazda vehicles are now available for players to test drive at the dealership and explore their performance in the open world. Challenge Mode also offers the opportunity to put these vehicles to the test on Grip and Drift tracks after tuning.
The update includes several car adjustments, such as fixed RPM gauges for the Mazda RX8, adjusted physics, engine, gearbox, and transmission for the Nissan S13, Nissan S14, Mazda RX8, Mazda MX5, and Subaru BRZII. The Subaru also received a fixed handbrake, while Nissan, Subaru, and Mazda all received gearbox tweaks and fixed automatic downshift. Stock car polishes were applied, with the most significant polishes on the Mazda RX8 and Subaru BRZ II, and smaller polishes on the Miata NA, Miata NB, Nissan S13QS, and Subaru Impreza Bugeye.
Wheel presets now include T300, T500, T150, G29, G920, and Fanatec V2, complete with added and fixed infographics, steering wheel navigation support, and HUD interactions. Custom binding options have been expanded, with a wide selection of device support, fixed handbrake binding, and improved custom binding of hardware.
SFX fixes include the optimization of overall SFXs, small tweaks, and transitions in UI sounds volume. Events fixes addressed disqualification issues and better drift in tuned versions for specific events. Localization fixes, tweaks in SMS textures, and adjusted horn range are also part of the update
