Pc Games Indie Game Role Playing GameJagex, a leading UK video game company and developer of the RuneScape franchise, has appointed Marc Allera as Chairman of the Board. Allera brings a wealth of experience in consumer-centric businesses across technology, telecoms, and media sectors, having led the Consumer Division at BT, which includes BT, EE, and Plusnet. He has also served as the Chief Commercial Officer of Three and General Manager for the UK at SEGA. Allera's experience in leading large-scale consumer businesses, entertainment brands, and fan communities is expected to help Jagex achieve its strategic goals and take the company to the next level. Jagex's CEO, Phil Mansell, expressed his excitement about Allera's appointment, stating that his experience and entrepreneurial spirit perfectly suit the company's goals for RuneScape and its players. Allera commented that he was delighted to join Jagex and looked forward to using his experience to support the team and achieve their plans for RuneScape, Old School RuneScape, and other titles.
