The final version of the game will be available for the first time on August 21 for Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and MAC.

To build excitement for the release, BBG Entertainment is hosting "Master Challenge" qualifying tournaments in Rome and Berlin. The winner of the Rome tournament, which will take place at the GAMM Museum, will earn a spot in the World Cup qualifiers in Cologne on August 23. The German champion, who will be determined in Berlin on the same day, will also compete in the World Cup qualifiers. The World Championship will be held during gamescom on August 21, where the world's best "Boulder Dash" players will compete for the title of world champion.

"Boulder Dash" creator Peter Liepa recorded a personal message for the participants in the Rome tournament, wishing them good luck.
