MiniGoof, a Brazilian studio founded by former developers of Horizon Chase 2 and Fortnite, has released its first original title, Islets Defense. The tower defense game is now available on PC via Steam with a limited-time 10% discount and will soon be released on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, iOS, and Android.

Islets Defense offers a unique mix of tower defense and turn-based strategy, with 30 levels and global score progression. The game is designed to be both accessible and strategically challenging, with charming visuals and an original soundtrack. Since launch, content creators have been competing to complete the first stage in the fewest turns possible, encouraging creativity and community engagement.

The game is a personal project for MiniGoof, reflecting the team's vision for game design and commitment to creating charming, accessible, polished, and fun games. Nuntius Games, a Brazilian publisher co-founded by experienced developers and top content creators, is publishing Islets Defense and plans to release several major indie games by the end of 2025.

MiniGoof was founded in 2024 by three former developers from Epic Games Brazil (Aquiris Game Studio) with a desire to create original and accessible games with strong creative identity and a passion for imaginative design.
