Lunarch Studios and Behaviour Interactive have revealed their plans to develop an offline mode for the game Islands of Insight. This decision comes in response to player feedback, with the aim of providing a more flexible gaming experience. The shared world of Islands of Insight was designed to offer a unique take on the puzzle genre, allowing for social interaction, community building, and streaming without affecting solo players.
The offline mode is currently in development and is expected to be released in the coming months. Players can look forward to enjoying the game in their own time and space. In the meantime, those interested can try out the Islands of Insight demo, which is now available on the game's Steam page. The demo showcases the first biome of the game, giving players a taste of the world and its puzzles.
Islands of Insight will also be featured in the Steam Cerebral Puzzle Showcase, which runs from May 23 (10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET) to May 30 (10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET). Players can expect regular updates on the progress of the offline mode through Islands of Insight's Steam announcements, official social media channels, and the game's official website.
