CipSoft, the developer of the classic MMORPG Tibia, has introduced a new character class: the monk. This martial-arts fighter with mystical abilities is the first new vocation in Tibia since its launch in 1997. The monk is now available for players to choose, providing a unique playing experience with new gameplay mechanics, over 70 items, 25 spells, and adjusted code to enable the monk to interact with NPCs and participate in quests.

The monk was thoroughly tested by selected members of the Tibia community, and their feedback led to numerous adjustments and improvements. In addition to the monk's release, Tibia is now available for free on the Epic Games Store.

Tibia is a pioneering MMORPG, launched in 1997, with over 32 million registered accounts. The game is known for its infinite leveling system, considerable player freedoms, and high-risk gameplay, which has contributed to its long-term success.

CipSoft, the developer of Tibia, was founded in 2001 and has since grown into a successful independent game development studio, generating annual revenues of over 20 million euros and employing more than 100 staff members. CipSoft has also released other successful games, such as TibiaME and Persist Online, and offers its payment system to other game developers under the "MultiPayer" brand.
