Introducing Mordred, the Breaker of the Round Table in SMITE 2's Closed Alpha

Titan Forge Games has announced a new god, Mordred, for its upcoming game SMITE 2. Mordred, known as the Breaker of the Round Table, is a Dark Knight with a relentless hunt for his crown. He will be playable during the Close Alpha phase of SMITE 2. Mordred fights with dual-wielding swords, one focused on Strength and the other on Intelligence. The SMITE 2 design team has provided details about the development process behind the character to ensure Mordred's wrath, ruthless nature, and wicked charisma come through in the fight.

On August 7, the developers will give further insight into what players can expect from SMITE 2's continuing Closed Alpha and updates on community-requested changes. Players can purchase the Founder's Edition on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Epic Games Store for guaranteed access to the closed testing. They can also request to join the playtest via the SMITE 2 Steam page or register their interest for playing on other platforms on the official website.

Mordred's tale continues in SMITE 2 following his battle against King Arthur, giving players a chance to write a new ending for their story. The game's designers have worked to ensure that the Dark Knight's wrath, ruthless nature, and wicked charisma come through in the fight. Players can look forward to learning more about SMITE 2 and Mordred in the coming weeks.
