Cthulhu’s Reach: Devil Reef, the Lovecraftian action-roguelike co-op dungeon crawler from developer The Fine Arc, has introduced a new playable character, Florence, along with a range of updates. Players can now create their own custom character appearance in the Wardrobe. Additional updates include improved enemy spawning and boss battles, gameplay balance and improvements, and UX changes. Florence is a new character with unique visual and audio assets, including voice lines and animations. She comes with an excerpt from her diary, describing her backstory and motivation for venturing into the daunting depths of Devil Reef. The update coincides with Steam’s Lovecraftian Days, where Cthulhu’s Reach: Devil Reef is on sale for 15%. The game is currently available via Steam Early Access.
