The intercontinental REJECT FIGHT NIGHT × Sajam Slam: Street Fighter™ 6 International Championship is set to take place in Tokyo, Japan, in March 2025. This event is a collaboration between Japanese esports organization REJECT and Fighting Game Streamer of the Year Sajam, and will feature teams of fighting game veterans and newcomers from Japan and the United States competing for hometown pride.

Sajam Slam, which was first introduced in March 2024, is a team-based event that brings together FGC experts and new creators for dedicated training sessions. The most recent iteration of the event was held in-person at TwitchCon San Diego in September 2024. Qualifiers for the international championship will be held in January 2025, and applications are open to creators from the U.S. and Canada.

REJECT, founded in 2018, has hosted four REJECT FIGHT NIGHT events featuring FGC pros such as Tokido, Leshar, and Daigo as coaches for popular Japanese creators and V-tubers. The organization is home to fighting game legends, esports world champions, content creators, and V-tubers from various game genres.

Street Fighter 6, which has sold over four million units since its launch, is available now and features a combination of unique fighting game innovations and content across three game modes: Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub. The game is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. More details on the international championship will be shared soon.
