Square Enix has released a four-part documentary series, Inside FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, which takes viewers behind the scenes of the highly acclaimed game. The series features interviews with the development team, including Director Naoki Hamaguchi, Producer Yoshinori Kitase, Creative Director Tetsuya Nomura, and many others. FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is a standalone RPG that follows the previous installment, FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE. The game has received over 50 perfect review scores from critics and is available for the PS5.

The documentary series offers a deep dive into the creation of the game's vast and vibrant world, the powerful bonds between party members, and the rich, multi-faceted stories and quests. The series features interviews with the game's directors, artists, designers, voice talent, and localization producers. FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is a new, standalone adventure set across a vibrant planet. The game sees Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith, and Red XIII escape from the dystopian city of Midgar into the wide world beyond. To hunt down Sephiroth, a haunting figure from Cloud's past bent on ruling the planet, these unlikely heroes join forces with new companions like the spirited ninja operative Yuffie and the wisecracking, feline-shaped robot Cait Sith.

Square Enix has also released a free, two-part demo that lets players experience both the game's opening chapter and a special preview of the massive in-game world set several hours into the main storyline.
