Ignis Joins Capes: A Superhero Strategy Game Launching May 29

Spitfire Interactive and Daedalic Entertainment are releasing their turn-based superhero tactics game, Capes, on May 29, 2024, for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5/4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. The game features a variety of superheroes, including Ignis, who utilizes fire-based abilities to deal damage and control the battlefield. Capes offer a dark and gritty campaign, strategic missions, and team-up attacks.

The King City Edition of Capes will be available simultaneously, including the full game, extra content, alternate hero appearances, an art book, and more. Fans can stay updated through Daedalic Entertainment's X (formerly Twitter) and the official Capes Discord.

Daedalic Entertainment is a well-known publisher supporting indie developers for over 17 years, with a diverse line-up of games across various platforms. They are currently working with multiple development studios to create innovative games, focusing on storytelling, strategy, co-op games, and wholesome games.

Spitfire Interactive is an Australian development studio founded by former Defiant Development team members, known for Hand of Fate (2015). The team includes writer Morgan Jaffit, who has experience working on Freedom Force (2002) and Teen Titans (2006). Capes is one of several upcoming games from Daedalic Entertainment, which has been a subsidiary of the French publishing house Nacon since April 2022.
