On February 26, 2025, HoYoverse introduces Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.1, "Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne." This update features a new map, "Grove of Epiphany," where players, as Trailblazers, embark on a mission to rescue survivors, reveal truths about a catastrophe, and reclaim Cerces' Coreflame. The update also introduces two new playable characters: Tribbie, a 5-star Quantum character who supports teammates in battle, and Mydei, a 5-star Imaginary character who utilizes his undying nature in combat. Limited 5-star characters Yunli and Huohuo will return in the first and second halves of the Version 3.1 warp event.
The Grove of Epiphany is a city-state honoring Cerces, the Reason Titan, and has been a beacon of knowledge and progress, contributing significantly to the Flame-Chase Journey. However, it has recently fallen to the black tide's assault, and a shadowy foe seeks to claim Cerces' Coreflame. In the Main Story, players will harness the power of Oronyx to uncover secrets from the "Era Chrysea" and learn about Tribbie's mysterious past.
The new version brings an array of exciting events, including a new season of Divergent Universe, featuring a Day and Night System that provides unique boosts and additional effects during combat. Players will also manage the chimera squad in Okhema in The Awooo Firm event.
