HoYoverse, the global interactive entertainment brand, has announced that Honkai: Star Rail will release its Version 2.1 update, Into the Yawning Chasm, on March 27, 2024. This update introduces new companions and maps, further exploring Penacony's secrets. In anticipation of the game's one-year anniversary, players can participate in various events to receive rewards such as Star Rail Special Passes and Stellar Jades.

The update's storyline focuses on Penacony, where guests with different motives create a complex situation. The Fate's Ensemble feature allows players to navigate through these complexities, gaining insights into various factions' motivations. Two new 5-star characters, Acheron and Aventurine, will join the game. Acheron is a mysterious drifter with formidable swordsmanship, while Aventurine is a senior executive of the IPC Strategic Investment Department, playing a high-stakes game against the Trailblazers.

Additionally, the 4-star character Gallagher, a Penaconian native and security officer for the Bloodhound Family, will also join the party. The new update introduces the Clock Studios Theme Park and Dewlight Pavilion, offering unique experiences and storylines. Players can also enjoy the "Vignettes in a Cup" event and explore the 9th world in the Simulated Universe.

Honkai: Star Rail celebrates its one-year anniversary with special events, including the Cosmodyssey, an Immersive Interactive Exhibition, and offline anniversary celebrations in major global cities. The game is available on PC, iOS, Android, Epic Games Store, and PS5, having won several awards, including Apple's App Store Game of the Year, Google Play's Best Game, and BEST MOBILE GAME by The Game Awards.
